2010 - present, Self-employed
- Developed Bluegrass Help-at-Home, a web application for finding in-home care providers. Provides ability to search profiles by availability and other attributes. Built using the Ruby-based Sinatra web framework.
- Developed resume submission feature in Ruby on Rails for ArkNet, a facilities management application for a local rehabilitation therapist outsourcing company.
- Developed Vidproxy, a web application to search videos hosted by third-party video hosting providers (i.e. Vimeo). All thumbnails, tags, description, and titles are cached, allowing users to have a custom frontend to their videos. Currently used by the BGADD as BlueGrassWebTV.com using Vimeo as the hosting API. The site is implemented in PHP using a Ruby Sinatra-like framework called Fitzgerald, IdiORM, and Paris.
- Engineering Ruby on Rails application for managing financial benefit accounts for a local health care administration company.

2008 - 2010, PromptSite LLC, Senior Developer
- Engineered Ruby on Rails facilities management application for local rehabilitation therapist outsourcing company. Handles scheduling for therapists of varying diciplines for multiple rehab facilities. Currently manages day-to-day scheduling of over 50 therapists for over thirty facilities. Manages therapist and facility profiles, provides online therapist availability submission.
- Optimized website deployment using Ruby rake, git and remote_task.
- Optimized server provisioning using Sprinkle and custom sprinkle scripts.
- Developed a file upload and document sharing application in Ruby on Rails to facilitate easier file sharing. Later revisions stored files using Amazon S3. Currently in use by four different organizations.
- Improved site uptime and developer response time by migrating 20 websites from shared hosting to virtual private servers.
- Developed three e-commerce websites using the RBiz Radiant CMS e-commerce extension.
- Improved website uptime, security, and custom extension development time by migrating to Radiant CMS from Joomla CMS.
- Developed Ruby application using the Sinatra framework that manages votes on rain barrel art.

- Maintained eight DragonFly BSD web application jails across two co-located servers.
- Co-developed and pioneered multiple Radiant CMS powered websites.

- Reduced email spam by 70% by configuring custom spam assassin rules in an Exim-powered Debian email server.
